How to look after your roses
Cut the stems and place immediately in a deep vase filled with water to the top, ensuring that all leaves are removed below the water level. A cool spot away from radiators or fires is best and will prolong the life of your flowers. Add the flower food supplied and top up with fresh water when necessary. If the heads start to flop this is because air has entered the stems and is preventing water uptake, if this happens wrap the roses in paper (so as to hold the heads up) re-cut the stems and plunge into deep water for two hours.
